A concept started in 2005 by former ‘Sole Addiction’ members; Steve Rowlands & Mark Pitts under the original name of Project 25. The goal being to write a more expansive style of music creating a quirky and groove driven sound by infusing experimental drum beats with unusual guitar riffs, often of an exotic nature with a touch of attitude.

This writing/recording process has allowed Kamasupazundown to develop it's sound, branching from indie / alt rock to groovier & heavier rock genres along with some increasingly in depth lyrical content inspired by cultural, social and personal experiences.

Together, Mark and Steve wrote and recorded the main basis for the first 12 songs (some of which would later be revisited and re-recorded). As the band have progressed through the last few years, more and more songs have been added to the extended catalogue including the recent EPs; ‘Solace’ and ‘Kubla Ross Theory’, thus cumulating in the production of their first album, ‘One Minute Silence’.

The band has gone through various line-up changes, however have now settled over the past year with its current members.
